What should I do if a client threatens or mentions suicide or self-harm?

If you find yourself in the situation where a client places an order and, in it threatens self-harm, you should refer to a hotline and politely decline to do the reading. Here's a resource for this with a toll-free number:

Also recommend to the client to seek advice from a professional mental health expert, as these requests are outside the scope of what Purple Ocean can provide. If you've already completed the reading, be sure to share the resources in the comments section.  

Then let Support know that this has happened and report the name of the client so as we can handle the issue from there.
